Ugh Thanos, you're an idiot... both of you are idiots.

If you are the same down to that level, why not use the Gauntlet to merge into one being after that way you can both have it, and the info you need from the other. There does not seem to be any difference between the two Thanoses.

Also was there ever a What If Doctor Doom possessed the Infinity Gauntlet?

If not seems like a wasted opportunity.
