I’m not sure what his significance was in this series, but the Good Times Sloth was the catalyst for James Tynion IV’s Memetic.

This miniseries (I believe) was the third chapter of his own “Apocalypse” series, a trilogy of seemingly unconnected comics with similar themes and imagery (like with the Final Fantasy franchise, the Three Flavours Cornetto movies, Lars von Trier’s Depression films, etc.).
