With the dire lack of good (as in quality) heroes of non-whiteness, was this series about a villains rise to whatever really necessary?

The only good point Killmonger had in the movie was "Where was Wakanda?" during all the woes visited upon every other black who wasn't from there.
Otherwise you have a character so blinded with vengeance and daddy issues that he's destroying the future because he wants to share his pain.
Seen it, found it annoying.

The impression I got was that a lot of the point of MCU! Killmonger was that he was the Ghost of American White Colonialism Past and Present, boomeranged back to sender and wielding the tactics used against his people (paralleling Osama bin Laden, who was trained at the School of the Americas.)

Kind of, but I think the boomerang goes both ways.

Honestly, I always felt he was (in his "oppressed by America reproduces the oppresion" thing) a Liberia analogue.

I feel like the "cel" in "Celia" and the "cel" in "cellar" are pronounced differently.
