Thanos: The Infinity Ending

“The character of Thanos keeps drawing me back. I mean, he’s probably one of the most complex characters in comics. He’s different; he’s not a hero, so he doesn’t have to stay in that little spectrum of characterization that a hero does.

He’s a great place to vent whatever I’m reading – things like Nietzsche or Castaneda, or whoever. He’s just a good way to vent out wherever I am in my life at that time. I always going back and visiting him – he’s like an old friend.” -- Jim Starlin

Alan Davis is such an incredible artist, it boggles the mind.

Also, that page with kid Thanos with a smoothie is the best Thanos appearance ever.

It's very Jim Starlin that the only worthy opponent for Thanos is another Thanos.

Is it bothering anyone else that this just...isn't what nihilism is? Nihilists wouldn't care about destroying the universe. This is anti-natalism.

Thanos under Starlin is smarter than everyone else and always six steps ahead...

And yet he’s written so compellingly, I still find it worth reading.
