Did we really NEED a grimdark version of Commisioner Gordon?

It could be interesting honestly. Not this version. So far this version seems to be doing the whole "lets unleash choas, blah, blah, blah" every other event villain does.

But an honest to goodness evil commissioner Gordon and GCPD would probably be terrifying.
