I have to say, I love the way Tomasi writes Dick and how he just 'gets' the Bat family members. (Why is he still working on Green Lantern, again?)

Because he just 'gets' the vast cast of Green Lantern too, I think. His work with Kyle, Soranik & Guy has been nothing short of fabulous, and the characters he's introduced -Miri, Kryb, Mongul & the Daxamites- have all been compellingly written.

Don't get me wrong, I would like to see what Tomasi could do on a Bat-book, but I really can't think who could replace him on GL Corps. It's a difficult book to write well.

Yeah I agree, GLC is not a book that just anybody could write. but hey, he could work on both right?

Basically, I want:

Batman: Peter Tomasi

Detective Comics: Paul Dini

Streets of Gotham (dealing with Batwoman and various other Gotham cops): Greg Rucka

Batgirl: Andrew Gabrych

I promptly second all of those, except for the Batgirl one, which I hesitantly second, because I've never heard of him.

Maybe this will help:

Actually I made a mistake (if the tags are to be believed) it's Anderson Gabrych.

I like Rucka's Batwoman arc being in Det and I'm waiting until a few more issues to see what this Brian Miller guy's going to do with Batgirl, but I otherwise agree. :D

I like Brian Q Miller but I think he works better on titles like Teen Titans or Titans.
