I’ve heard to Aaron’s Avenger is really fun, if a little weightless, but I really don’t care for the way he’s used the Phoenix in the past few years. It used to be very specifically connected to Jean and then Rachel Grey, with stories about empowerment and personal agency (more than one essay has been written about feminist readings of the Dark Phoenix Saga)
