Gee, if he does manage to kill Morlun I will love this villain forever

I feel that Morlun was an interesting villian the first time around. He had a great intimidating presense and mystery.

Sadly, i think he's been butchered ever since, including the unintentionally comical fight at the zoo.

His family has zero appeal and by introducing it, it pigeon-holed his character. Lets pretend it doesnt exist.

Overall, Morlun is a character that should be very rarely used....the way that they use him now? Its like "oh, is that time in the week?"

did Strange feel Mephisto's deal?

[personal profile] themajesticmoose 2020-11-05 05:35 pm (UTC)(link)
Anyone else really hoping that Morlun rips Sin Eater's head off and then straight up clubs his follows to death with the body like Mary Marvel in that iconic moment where she used Kyle Rayner as a blunt instument

Or is that just me?

I might actually start liking Morlun as a character if he slaughters every single one of the repulsive bigoted gutter trash following Sin Eater along with their pathetic leader and sends the whiny little bitch back to hell where he belongs

Also god, I thought Marvel were overdoing it with all the Carnage stories in recent years but seeing the way they're pushing this bland waste of space that is Nick Spencer's latest pet Mary Sue makes me long for the days when Carnage was the villain of every other Spider-Man story because at least some of the stories about Carnage were entertaining

The Sin Eater is basically just Jerry Fallwell or any other inbred bible thumping neo-nazi like him but in a ski mask

deh_tommy: Gavla from BIONICLE. For when I’m feeling argumentative, confrontational or altogether serious. (Gavla)

On a happier note one character it IS nice to see again is Felicia

She's always fun and she's one of my favourites

Gotta agree

Her angry vengence toward Peter seemed so....weird ...when she was told it was Doc Ock that punched her. She should have known Peter well enough that if there is one thing he wasnt, it was a liar about others.

Even when she finally seemed to believe Peter was telling the truth, it had little influence on her for a while.

It just seemed out of character for her.

Just when I think this can't get more tedious they add Morlun and invoke OMD.

Still nice to have the real Felicia back, though.

Yeah, I'm glad she and Spider-Man got their shit together straight.

I still can't get over that outfit she was wearing during her time as a crime boss. It looked like she was taking fashion advice from Kraven.

I agree I am so glad that rubbish during Dan Slott's godawful run on Amazing has been completely undone/forgotten and we're back to the Felicia people actually know and love and want to read about

Her ongoing has been fantastic and it's so nice to see Felicia back as her fun, sexy superhero thief self and Marvel no longer trying to force that mob boss nonsense on the character

And yes I am so glad she's back in her classic costume as well because yeah that new outfit that Slott gave her was just awful.

Great cover. I am happily impressed with Gleason's art. I did not like his earlier art, and tolerated it on Green Lantern Corps. But this looks great.
