That film was was a disappointment and I held no hopes for it to begin with. The story was identical to the theatrical release, with the exception of young Darkseid leading the past invasion instead of Steppenwolf and some backstory and character developement for new characters, and of course the epilogue, but otherwise it's less than a remake. It's a second viewing of the movie I disliked the first time.
