I felt that the friendships and connections between each of the characters were well-built here. Diana and Bruce, Diana and Arthur, Arthur and Bruce, Arthur and Barry, also the Alfred/Bruce relationship is handled better. Alfred really suffers from the Whedon version - so many of his character moments are truncated. (I liked the tea making scene with Diana, it's nice moment - shows so much with so little.)
