I prefer the comic to the show honestly

The show is good but some of the uncomfortably antisemitic subtext to some of the jokes makes me cringe

Yes I know the show's writers room is made up predominantly of Jewish writers and they've explained the reasoning behind the jokes. But they still aren't to my taste. I think because this is a show where the jokes and lines are being presented without the context of "Oh this is an in-joke among people who actually are Jewish themselves"

It's like how me and my friends who are all part of the LGBT community will make jokes among ourselves about stereotypes about queer and trans people but you put that in a show out of context and it can come off really disquieting

Maybe I'm overly sensitive there but in any case I prefer the comic because it doesn't have those jokes in there. Also because it's much much gayer and that always makes things better :)
