Well, ......she's filling the wife role perfectly. The neighbors won't gossip and report him the the SP so quickly(as opposed to being single), she doesn't involve herself too much about what he does for a living, shes a good mother-figure(as for care) for Anya, AND she's extremely gulliable. She's perfect for what he needs for his mission.
