So Sibohan as made her debut in the Supergirl TV show, and I am enjoying the character but with Supergirl's return to the mainstream DCU on the horizon I do hope we see more of the New 52 version, as I quite like her. Reposted from December 2014; here are some scans on how she met Supergirl.

Okay, finally got around to digging out a Marvel comic, Alpha Flight #22 (first series.)

Some context for our younger readers: At the end of the first year of Alpha Flight, their leader Guardian was killed off and the team largely broke up, so the next year focused on stories spotlighting one or two of the members, while advancing the various subplots leading up to the #25 milestone issue. Of course, keeping all the balls in the air means that sometimes a writer gets a little stuck, and in this case had to come up with a villain by looking at his eraser.

Seven pages of a 22-page story, plus a treat.

The title of the story is 'Rub-Out' )

In the Clone Saga post, Ben and Matt bemoan the loss of the world's heroes during the Onslaught event. They weren't actually alone, but to average people nobody else really counted. The X-men, Hulk, and New Warriors were all pretty insular and often low profile. The strange result was that the two 'loner' heroes tended to show up together in crossovers. Read more... )

Filling neuhallidae's request for a scene from Uncanny X-Men #171, with context added. Six and a third pages plus preview image from a 23-page story, with Claremont writing and lovely Walt Simonson guest pencils. It's a bridge story tying up the first Morlock plot, advancing several other ongoing plots (including a visit X-friend Carol Danvers pays to her parents, who find her quite distant thanks to her brain-suckage and recent Binary-transformation), and bringing a newcomer to the front door at Graymalkin Lane:

Don't hit me, please - don't hit me! )

So that's how Rogue came to join the X-Men, and how Carol Danvers came to bid them all DIAF. Not my scans, sorry about the quality, I cleaned 'em up best I could.
