I suppose - I was just struck by that first panel. The way his head and facial features are drawn strike me as well-done - he LOOKS like a 9-year old. He has that certain softness of the features that most pre-teens have at a certain point. I'm not saying that nobody else drew him well, just that this version struck me as well-drawn.
