Two panels from Osborn #1

IMO, the first issue of the Osborn miniseries was a bit disappointing, mainly because, well, Norman's not in it a whole lot. The bulk of it's setting up the main focus of the series, with Norman being transferred to a maximum security wing with a number of other high-risk supervillains.

There's a back-up, though, written none other by our friend Warren Eliis. It's primarily a character study on one of Norman's new cellmates, but it also features, well, Norman being Norman.

Watch out ladies, Norman's back in town.

Listen up, ladies and gentlemen. Spider-Man has been on the run for over six hundred issues. Average web swinging speed is six miles per hour barring injury. What I want out of each and every one of you is a hard-target search of every Newspaper office, fabric shop, pet store, pancake house, hen house, outhouse and doghouse in that area. Checkpoints go up at fifteen miles. Your fugitive's name is Peter Parker, let's get him.

Six mph seems way too low to me. (And yes, I know you were quoting, but the quote is 4 mph, so...)
