The writer manages to create a simple but effective set-up that showcases Conner powers. This comic is fun as heck and loving the art.

Agreed! Just delightful space adventuring! I was worried at first that the Cosmoteers were going to turn out to be Superboy's own Elite, but they're thankfully a lot more mellow.
