This miniseries was a pleasant surprise and a much needed focus on the non-Wonder Amazon characters.

Ugh, I know she’s an unreliable and biased narrator and shouldn’t be trusted but I cannot stand battle of the sexes tropes like how women are inherently smarter and wiser and more compassionate and enlightened than men, who are naturally predisposed to being self-destructive might makes right women-hating brutes.

Yeah... It is a really toxic trope. There's a real fake feminism that reduces both sexes, harming all sides. Even if she's the villain and supposed to be wrong, I just can't help but wish we had a more interesting idea to explore.

Add the context of this being a spin off of Tom King's noxious work on the main Wonder Woman book... Given all the awful problems of that disaster, do we really need to add 'there's an evil woman trying to kill all men' to the overall story. Tom King doesn't need help to be more offensive and awful. He's far too good at that all by himself

Isn’t she trying to destroy the Amazons and make sure men stay on top while the women will “know their place”, not kill all men?

From superfangirl's reply, I see I had the context a little wrong, just seeing the scans and seeing her mention her love of burning things and handing apples of Discord around. Assumed that was her ultimate plan was vengeance for being 'killed' all those years ago, given how much she hates men.

Still, the broader point is still correct, unfortunately. A woman is causing the exact sort of anti-men terrorism, handing around Apples of Discord to escalate the violence. While her actual scheme is a different sort of misogynistic 'she's an anti-man feminist' style scheme than I thought, she is doing the exact thing I had a problem with.

An actual Amazon who hates men and is causing more terrorist attacks in America against men is the problem. After everything in the main run, I can't feel comfortable about the idea of going 'But there are Amazon terrorists attacking America'
