I mean, I'd assume there's more to Viper's plan than just "drop snakes on people, spread plague, mwa-ha-ha". Like, for example, she's not just actually dropping snakes on people at random, but there's some mechanism to make sure the snakes are alive when they get to the ground. (But with Viper, it could be hard to tell.)
I suspect this is not the sort of sacrifice Quetzalcoatl is going to be pleased by.
Did all the plague ridden snakes completely incinerate spontanesouly, or are we either left with
A) Piles of plague ridden snake carcasses around the place, or B) Potentially still alive plague ridden snakes sneakign into the undergrowth (Given I suspect quite a few would survive the fall)
