I wonder if Kite man willingly volunteer to teach Lizzie how to fly kites. Because he loves kites so much and the smiles of children to fly them? Or did Damien threaten to paralyze kite man, with bodily harm. If he didn’t do it? Or Damien just bribe him with lots of money to do it.

I think he'd do it for the joy of kites, but they'd have to pay or threaten him to not teach her how to use kites to commit crimes.

Still kind of dubious about the notion that Tom King is allowed to have fun. I read something this cheerful and charming and think, is he OK? Should someone go and check on him?

Kite Man literally just flying a kite for no reason other than making a child happy is pretty great, though.
