Well, Sarah's powers are certainly gross enough that she'd have fit in as a Gen X regular.
X-Women keep trying to kill Marrow but it just keeps not taking.
Regardless of how justified you find her rage to be ... you'd think she'd stop exclusively going after the mutants who are fine with killing. Cable, Storm (#MarrowWasRight), Emma ... yeah, the girl has a death wish and she's lucky the next X-Man she'll run into is Iceman.
-"Somehow... there's something about their cerebral make-up that shielded them from my blast."- Oooh, I so wanna make a crack that Marrow's shielded by dint of having no brain because she's a teenager.
So apparently Skin's powers are what's actually holding his whole body together, and without them he'd collapse into a pile of goo and hair? Ick.
no, but he would sag to the point that might look like it's what's happening and he would probably barely be able to move if at all due to falling over his limp skin
Exactly. You ever see one of those horrible videos where someone's lost like, 400 pounds and now they're all skinny but they still have the -skin- of an obese person hanging onto them? That's Angelo. He'd probably just be a puddle of excess skin around the basic framework of a skeleton and stuff. A shuffling pile of skin which only barely resembled a person.
Generation X was really good for delivering content just on the verge of (sometimes crossing into) body horror, and it wouldn't have done so well without an artist like Bachalo. Angelo, Paige, Jono, Penance -- all bizarre and unsettling powers.

Kicking puppies is what Emma does for fun. Killing horses and grooming assassins is just business.

She probably just imagined Storm or Jean's face.
