Uncanny X-Men #187
It’s all gone a bit Die Hard! (Yes, I am aware this issue predates Die Hard. Let me have my fun.)
Now for the mandatory bit in an elevator shaft.
The sudden blizzard is due to the events of Thor’s own book, with the opening of the Casket of Ancient Winters.
Just in case you thought this was all about Storm, the rest of the X-Men turn up to remind us whose book it actually is.
Forge uses holograms to distract the Dire Wraiths.

-"Another lie"-
While Ororo's bitterness towards Forge is completely understandable, after a point it looks like she's just being reflexively contrary.
"Nice weather, huh, Storm?"
"Horrible."
"Good coffee, though."
"Rat piss."
"... ... Shadowcat's great."
"Actually, she's an obnoxious little br-... crap."

In this issue, and in the Kitty and Wolverine mini series, he's causing everyone to suffer through a blizzard. During the Morlock Massacre, he's the one who dealt with the dead bodies (nearly killing some X-Men and New Mutants) something I never knew at the time.
And man, don't get me started on their adventures in Asgard/Canada.
Maybe Thor should be an honorary X-Man?

Do we see it executed like this very much these days?
