I've seen people remark that they want more dialogue and narration in their comics to better put across characterization, citing Claremont as a " good " example of that.

I'd like to hope that they're not asking for things like Sebastian Shaw spending half a page explaining how being forcibly ensconced in rock is a threat to him.

I've seen people remark that Claremont sometimes lets his fetishes leak into his work. Can't say why.
