Kinda like how if someone makes a big noise, it can be scary or irritating, but if you make the same big noise, it's kinda different?

That would be like a symboite bonding to the Human Torch and not burning. And since one has tried that and burned when he went flame on, I don't think that would work.

The symbiote shows up in a lot of OOC stories for something that, in the long run, hasn't really impacted Peter in a long time
