The Justice League follow Amazo’s path of destruction.

It always feels weird to me to see a clean-shaven Aquaman. I first got into comics back when he had a beard and a harpoon for a hand. It’s how I know him best.

Fairly low-grade, and only with Atlanteans, if I recall correctly.

I'm pretty sure all the Atlanteans were shown communicating mind to mind in the older comics; it was just Aquaman's abilities that extended his telepathy to all sea life.

Kinda lame to have Aquaman start his own Justice League, then ditch it in... has it even been a year yet?

There's an early 2000s series "Incarnations" retelling periods of the JLA. Jon Ostrander writes it with Aquaman doing a different take on quitting noting he can't justify "only Leaguers who give their all" while he's distracted.

It does have a great bit when Steel asserts control as he owns the bunker and J'onn gets in his face. "We leave and this place becomes an empty bunker. We take over a room and it's the headquarters of the Justice League of America. You are in the League, you are not the League itself."

I'm under the impression that there's a human mind behind Amazo...so I'm guessing that the form Jonn took was his human form which left him in a state of shock?
