Starman has been captured by the Power Elite, who in turn have been infiltrated by agents of the Alien Alliance.

Now we are caught up to the end of the Firestorm issue, where the alien invaders shoot down our heroes.

The people of Rann opted to stay neutral in the invasion and handed over Adam Strange to prove their neutrality.
