The New History of the DC Universe! ... which, given DC's track record, will be just in time for it to be rendered redundant by the next big crisis rebooting everything.
Four issues seems like a very tight cram for eighty years of history. Unless the last issue is "and then the universe was rebooted. And then the universe was rebooted. And then the universe was rebooted. Then Amanda Waller went completely off the deep end. (oh, and then the universe was reimagined.)" But given the solicits say issue 3 only gets up to the first Crisis, that's apparently twenty-six years in one issue.
"Accidentally killed. Deliberately straight-up killed. Same dif." Not familiar with every version of Dr. Fate's origin, but there is at least one version where that was the case.
