These combos as of late have been odd I have to say but not really out there as I'd hope, I mean Etrigan has popped in so many titles before seeing him with Aquaman isn't as odd as one would think.
Though that Joker and Atom team up will certainly be interesting since Joker's team ups always are.
And by "strangest", you clearly mean "most awesomest". This is exactly what The Brave & The Bold is supposed to be in my opinion, completely insane nonsense from all over the DCU that would never happen in any of the regular books in a million years. Brother Power The Geek is in one of the next issues, for crying out loud.
Oooh, I'm buying this! Etrigan is one of those characters that goes well with everything. (Because he's mean, scary & awesome. Like Batman, but with flames & bad poetry)
My fav. so far was the Batman-Jay Garrick/flash issue. I wish it had lasted longer. They come to the hero biz from such different angles, but it worked SO well.
But no, I like the concept of "Brave and Bold", since yeah, the point seems to be to take pairings that would never otherwise happen, and go to town with them. I've enjoyed the majority, and I bet I'll love this one too.

To be fair, you'll have to try hard to beat the Booster Gold-Magog team up.
