CHRONICLES OF WORMWOOD: The Angel In The Comic Book Store

And I would like to dedicate this post to a good and departed friend, and the first store owner who bought my pathetic little comics creations back in 1998, the late, great Rory Root, owner and founder of Comic Relief in Berkeley, CA. Rest in peace, my buddy.
In the midst of the recent discussion over the disappointing CROSSED, I got introduced to CHRONICLES OF WORMWOOD.
I needed to have my faith in Garth restored. Thank you. I have since begun checking it out, I like it, and with issue 3 I am hooked. (and the Pope stuff? Please don't bore me with the word "tasteless." Look at the Church right now. Ennis can't defame it enough for me) To go along with the post before, here's a scene that will hook you as fast as the three words "Brotherhood of Dada" from Sung Koo hooked me on DOOM PATROL a long time ago. Where Garth Ennis gives us a nice angel.
Who loves MIRACLEMAN. This is who I want as my guardian angel.

Dare I ask what happens if the opposite occurs? As in, you bombard and ruin good comics and characters with stupid storylines, bad art, insults to readers' intelligence, and OOC-ness?

The general Wormwood cosmology is one based upon a combination of irony and self-determination. Presumably, somebody who ruined good comics - assuming that he or she did so out of a crippling taste deficiency rather than actual malevolence and was otherwise a good and decent person - would go to heaven but get made fun of when he or she got there.
