Teen Heroes and the Civil War Part 4
Sorry this post took so long. Here is the conclusion of my megapost on the Young Avengers and the Civil War.
So back in the main series Cap’s Avengers got their asses kicked by Clor. Bill foster has been killed and many other are too badly hurt to be moved in the retreat, this apparently includes Wiccan. So to no one’s surprise Hulkling says nothing but Patriot does.

After the retreat Nighthawk talks some of the resistance including Cassie into registering and switching sides. This was stupid but yeah whatever.

So to counterpoint the stupid Hulkling gets a secret mission from Cap that we won’t find out about the details for quite awhile but it is one of the more clever things that occurs so it’s cool.

So Hulkling goes on his mission, Cassie changes sides, and Wiccan is imprisoned. What do the other three do here? Nothing at all in the main book but they do appear in Bucky’s Winter Soldier book.
Ironically one of the delays was my attempts to get my scanner working again to scan this issue for this post unaware that it had already been posted http://scans-daily.dreamwidth.org/231282.html?#cutid1 here.
So with that out of the way, what was Hulkling’s mission?

Turn into a nervous looking SHIELD agent and then...

Pull the second awesomest stunt in this event (the first being Cap’s escape from Hellicarrier).

Then during the final battle Vision does one last cool thing before the event wraps up in one the suckiest ways possible.
After the Civil War things get kind of shakey. A couple things seem to imply that after Cap surrendered the Young Avengers registered but as it is later revealed that only Cassie did I have no idea what that means for the other cameos.
None the less I’m pretty sure it is still canon that they attended Cap’s Funeral for a few panels.

That brings us to an end of this series. Hope you enjoyed it and found it informative.
