and I have to say, I'm not buying it. I don't mean buy it as in buy for it, but as in believing. In otherwords, that's not Dick. I'd go on about why I believe it's not him, but I don't want to spoil it. Read the issue and it'd be very obvious how it's not him. I just think that this Hush is once again pulling a Tommy Elliot move as Tommy did make himself look like Bruce, so chances are, this Hush made himself look like Dick. All part of the mindfuckery.
Fair point, and given that Clayface impersonated Jason as Hush, it would make a fair analogue that he impersonated Dick too... and we never found out what happened to Clayface in the BBU... though one then has to wonder what happened to Dick.
also Dick has (apparently) been around for a while.
it was implied that "Hush" escaped from Waller.
Bruce would KNOW if Waller had Dick. (heehee sorry)
so if Dick has been around for a while and Waller ahs had "Hush" locked up for a while... well lets just say, any Bats would smell a hole in this a mile wide
Dick and Barb in this series..I can smell the awkwardness of that reunion.
Also I'm also beginning to wonder if Project Batman Beyond only involved trying to clone Bruce and not any other member of the clan..because it's either a Dick clone..or crazy Damian whose loyal to Dick.
...........囧........... Sorry, have to get this character emo out this time. What are they trying? Can I just hypnotize myself and take it as a sign of Cass becoming Nightwing later in DCU? Jeez, being optimistic is not easy these days...
Amanda Waller - "We needed his genetic material. It wasn't hard, he left samples all over town... Not remotely what I... actually no, that IS exactly what I meant." :)
Yeah I think this is a clear example of just trying TOO hard. I mean the Superman/Batman Annual #4 had a much simpler story but it was overall much more enjoyable.
I call shenanigans. First all the "pretender" talk is Jason's mo. Second Hush escaped from captivity in issue 1. And third why would Dick bother giving Terry an alibi if he was gonna reveal his identity to him a night later.
Huh. Well, I'm glad that I didn't waste money on this.
This comic appears totally off-key from the tone or feel of the animated series. I guess I kind of hoped that it would be like Batman Adventures, but for Batman: Beyond.
Meh. It looks like this only cribs from the Batman: Beyond "Return of the Joker" movie and then goes grimmer.
I don't really think this is set in the actual DCAU, not because I think this is crap but from everything I've seen this seems to be set in an alternate continuity in a universe that is similar to Batman Beyond.

Like the Wrath, or Deathwing.
Or go for the facepalm-worthy, and call himself Beyond.
