FF #13 & Fantastic Four #601

ComicBookResources has the covers of the December issues.
One is pretty much standard fare, the other....

You can practically sing along to it.

All I can see is the panel from Franklin Richards, Son of a Super Genius Not So Secret Invasion where Franklin escapes from the amazed Skrull.

"You just tied me to a chair and stuck me in a closet. Sorry, dude, but I've been tied up by more super villains than you can count. I know Doctor Doom. Doctor Doom is an enemy of mine. Trust me, you're no Doctor Doom!"

Franklin's had to deal with Doom since he was born. The kid knows which buttons to push.

Doom, of course, has no buttons to push. Doom is in full control of his own actions at all times.

And that's Button #1.

His mother being #2.

Reed Richards being #3.

Is TRIUMPH & TORMENT, the story where Doom & Doc Strange went to Hell and freed Doom's mother, still canon? The writers seem to go back and forth on it.

I don't care what the writers say, it will ALWAYS be canon to me.

I think it's always been considered canon, it's just that when it was published it was supposed to take place at some undefined point in the future. But technically it ought to have happened by now, since it has Doctor Strange at full power as Sorcerer Supreme and various other details that date it. This page claims it has to have taken place before F4 #379 in the 90s.

"Hey, Vic, while you were shitting yourself about Squirrel Girl dodging your antiaircraft fire, I saw Richards go back in time to bone your mother! *trollface*" <-- how to cause Doom to suffer a Villainous BSOD.

Doom has a ton of buttons to push. They all just happen to fire death rays.
