FF #11

Well, things go from bad to worse as the War of Four Cities expands.

2 pages from the latest issue, as a new threat is added to the mix.

The FF and Earth's preeminent heroes have a new task before them. Defend Earth against 4 different factions invading factions.

- The ancient Atlantean fish people.
- The Mole Man's subterraneans
- Annihilus and the revamped Annihilation Wave
- The Inhumans

The FF are making contingency plans (the true FF, not the Fantastic Four) while Reed brings the heroes up to speed as to how bad things are.

And in the meantime, something has been overlooked. Something torn to shreds since Annihilation. Something that wants it's rightful place back.

And we see the fate of two of the multi-verse Richards.

As you can imagine, this is not a GOOD thing.

The Kree are back.

I love how high level 616 earth realm is compared to the other universes. IT doesn't matter how much of a badass you were there. You come to 616 and everyone is like 20 levels higher.

Is it just me, or is Hickman teaching a master class on how to build up a world-threatening tension that Fraction could do well to learn from?

Nice!

Although I was hoping the Kree might reach out to the Face of Boe for a kinder, gentler Supremor.

Welp, reality's pretty much fucked, isn't it?
So are the Kree still ruled by the Inhumans, or are they another loose addition to the clusterfuck?

I love Ronan. His own people are terrified of him most of the time, but he doesn't let it get him down. He also used to have a close relationship with Supremor, even euthanized him out of what seemed like genuine mercy, so this is a good character moment.

At least the Kree are bouncing back from Annihilation finally. With a new Supreme Intelligence and the Inhumans back in the fold, they have a good shot at making sure the Shi'ar and Skrulls never make another play for local dominance.

Annihilus almost took over the entire universe. Let's see how he fares on Earth. And I will be extremely upset if they make the Kree evil-ish again. You know what? How 'bout Earth stops docking around in the Cosmic arena altogether?

Yes. Yes. Yes.

I love that. Making two alter-Reeds into the new Supreme Intelligence.

That's just...

Yes.
