So in the last issue of Birds of Prey, Batgirl joined the group, they located their cleaner boys, and before they knew it, they found themselves on the streets with Batgirl missing from the group.

...or was she really there to begin with? Surely Poison Ivy would remember a foe she's fought! And speaking of Ivy...what other deck of cards is she playing?

And then the girls meet up to talk about Dinah's recent 'discovery':





So if the real Babs wasn't with them at all when their memories failed them, does this mean Choke or one of the cleaner guys was posing as Batgirl?

Also am I alone in saying I got totally lost reading this issue? Like....what clusterfuck did I just read? Either I have to go back and re-read all the previous four issues to follow on the significance of the 'revelation' in this issue, or I need to wait on #6. All I know is that somewhere between #4 and #5 something got lost in translation. :/

[EDIT]: Nevermind, I think I finally understand the revelation now. Dude in the paper went missing and was turned into a cleaner via mind control. Or at least that's the version that's making sense to me right now.

I'm reading it like she didn't remember being with them at all--it seemed like all the others got hit with some memory loss of varying degrees, but Babs got it the worst.

True. But then what about Starling breaking her hand and suddenly healing? She doesn't remember breaking her hand on Dinah and her hand was fine when she started thinking about how 'you can't shoot or drink a shot with a broken hand.'
