i kept doubting it. kenji must have been a bigger powerhouse than i thought to get through magneto and emma, and i already thought he was p powerful.
i know that kenji actually had his tentacles all up in magneto's eyeballs in a recent issue, but still. to control BOTH to that extent. wow.

The art is really pretty, I particularly like the panel with Hope holding Martha's brain, but I wish none of this had happened. Martha deserves some happiness and I'm about ready for the whole "Hope is sorta evil maybe" subplot to be over with.

it kind of ended with this issue? if she turns out to be the phoenix host and goes dark phoenix, that will be a separate thing altogether, because this issue pretty much "clears" the whole mind controling the lights thing. she apologized and that was that.

It also seems COMPLETELY out of character with Kenji's portrayal up to this point for him to have been treating Martha like that.

Any sentence that starts with something like "I've been frelling with your minds ever since we first met, making you agree with whatever I wanted to do" and only ends with "But I'm really sorry about it" is sort of missing several rather important stages.
Surely even a title on a mad canter to a crossover event can't be THAT slapdash about something so fundamental?

Except she's KNOWN she's had the ability for a while, and has never told them about it, to give them the choice of whether they want to be near to someone who has that sort of power.
And trying to lay the guilt card of "But you OWE me", is pretty much lower than low, ethics wose.

It's 1/3 of a comic in general, but when a comic is recent (ie the last issue and released within the last month); any one poster is limited to 4 pages (so enthusiastic posters don't hog out all the potential pages from issue that are just released, preventing further posts).
