Have to say that the story was actually leaked online some time ago, but I haven't read it beyond a vague idea how it ends. Though the release date for Legend of Korra being pushed forwards from its original Spring 2013 date may have spoilt it somewhat...

I think they're big enough that they'll probably be in parts, unless down the road there's an omnibus edition. As current, I know of no plans for that.
