I'm just amused by the picture of Spiral from the back, where he just kinda stopped drawing her extra arms at some point. It's like he went, "Even I don't know how her shoulders are supposed to work with six arms."

Looking closely at it, she seems to have bare shoulders/shoulderblades - they're in a slightly pinker tone than the areas in grey that are transparent. I think for the purposes of the turnaround, he's basically saying 'her arms have to go *here*', which is why he leaves it blank so an artist like Garney can see it and can't mess it up.
