Catwoman: Crooked Little Town - Part 4

Previous part,
http://scans-daily.dreamwidth.org/4192148.html

With the corrupt cops releasing Holly's picture to the press, most of the GCPD are now out looking for her, and considering she's accused of murdering an undercover cop, things probably won't go well for her if she's found.

Crispus Allen is still lingering around the department which the dirty cops are working out of to try and solve the murder, which is making the bad guys antsy considering how their boss has a big deal they're overseeing soon. Meanwhile, Slam Bradley decides to take an opportunity to make some leaverage...

Selina begins using her old contacts in the Gotham underworld, and manages to wrangle out information about the cop's Big Deal, and she and Slam begin to set thier own plan into motion. It turns out that the cops are transporting several million dollars in seized heroin that they'd stolen from Evidence (or rather, their syndicate flubbed the paperwork so Evidence "lost" it) and are selling it to their contacts in the Russian Mafia.

Concluded in the next part.

This run on Catwoman was so smart and beautifully drawn. Why can't we have things like this anymore for Selina?

This run Darwyn Cooke and then Stewart was just sublime. Like, it's almost Vertigo-like or grown-up BTAS. But so tasteful. The way Selina was drawn during this run was fantastic. Character development, fantastic. Just UGH the reboot is so juvenile in comparison to the refinement here.
