Ms. Marvel #8

When last we left our gyro-eating heroine, Wolverine deduced that she was an Inhuman, not a mutant, and Medusa told Lockjaw to keep an eye on her. In this issue, we learn an important fact about Lockjaw.

Lockjaw likes hugs:

Kamala tries investigating Julie, the student Wolverine was looking for, hoping to get a lead on the missing kids the Inventor has taken.

I love how Kamala takes this all in stride. "A giant, moustachioed dog with a tuning fork on his head who teleports? Sounds legit."

Anyway, Lockjaw teleports them to the last place they know Julie was, when suddenly: giant robot! And they fight, and they fight...

Back at school...

When suddenly: giant robot! ...I am sensing a theme here.

I love how she doesn't even bother hiding Lockjaw from her family, and they apparently let her keep it.

I mean what home doesn't need a dog the size of a compact car with an antenna.

It's more of her mom refusing but dad being resigned (I guess because he's since realized that Sheikh Abdullah didn't stop her sneaking out) and her brother being all "ehh, you're gonna blow all your money on dog food but it's your funeral, I'll talk mom and dad off of the ledge", and all Kamala 'has' to do is keep Lockjaw in the backyard (where he teleported from).
