There are a ton of Batman Elseworlds comics out there and this one in particular is something I see pop up on the best of lists (same for best Batman comics as well). As such, let's take a look at it. This will be a collection of various scenes from the first chapter...

Hmm. Was the term "gay" being used heavily back in the 1960's? It seemed a little out of place for the time.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure 'homosexual' was the term of the era for the general public, though within the gay community, they'd been using the term for quite some time.
