Here's a short story from Junji Ito.

Remember to read from right to left.



They talk about their memories and how they wrote letters to each other to be read again. They mention how they all got along, except for one girl Shinoda Kumi.




At one point in the class decides to put on a play and Shinoda doesn't get the role she wants. She ends up grousing about the person who won behind her back.






She says she wanted to see if she would have matured in twenty years.

You mean someone reaching out from beyond the grave to harass their classmates doesn't count as a horror story?

Feels more like a horror story at the last minute honestly.

The real horror in this story is: imagine opening up a time capsule of what you were like in high school. Shinoda did the rest of them a favor, quite frankly.

Considering that was about six years ago for me, it wouldn't be that horrifying for me. ;D

Maybe she snuck into the capsule, shred all the stuff, and couldn't get out again and they buried it.
