It's predictable and beyond cheap, not to mention it only plays into the old joke about death in comics being a revolving door. For the longest time that death was actually largely inaccurate, but lately with the killing off of major characters who obviously aren't going to stay dead, Marvel really is doing a couple of major deaths and resurrections every year.
