Green Lanterns #8: 'Family Matters, Part 2'

Lanterns Baz and Cruz have been in a really good place (and book) lately. Here they are in Part 2 of this downtime-oriented arc, in a story about admitting that sometimes we have to ask for help. Plus: what's the most destructive material in the DC Universe? Check it!
The Story:
Simon Baz and Jess Cruz have been doing a bonding thing this arc, with Jess getting to know Simon's family.
They're also looking for Guardian Rami, who came to Earth looking for "the better Earth Lanterns." Disappointed that he didn't get Hal Jordan, Rami sulks off during the worst time a costumed freak could sulk off: Halloween.

Their trick-or-treat/search continues, as Simon goes for a top-notch police technique: Questioning Da Youths.

"...higher ground."
On a clocktower, Rami reflects on his problem: the Phantom Ring, a power ring that caused his explusion from the Guardians.
When he's interrupted by Baz and Cruz, he lashes out:

On his way out, Rami is shot down by a pair of Dominators, who want the Phantom Ring.

Odd to see non-psychic Dominators! Strange, but not unpleasant. I assume there's a Costumed Vigilante!Dominator out there somewhere.

I love that page - Not just because of Jessica being kickass, but because it's the GL equivalent of Arceus versus 2x Magikarp. Look at that.
Finally seeing the Lanterns' potential, Rami finally opens up to them for help:

Oh, hey, small humanoid with an indestructible ring of power that's more trouble than it's worth, aided by two friends who happen to be neophytes to a great cause! Smeagol-tested, Deagol-approved!
