I think we all sometimes look like fish people from an HP Lovecraft story from time to time. We just don't notice because we don't have to constantly look at ourselves in the mirror and we've gotten used to the features of our neighbors.
Hey! Some of us aren't fish-people! Some of us are perfectly normal, ground-dwelling humans, who enjoy breathing oxygen, drying out in the sun with no side-effects, and ingesting deceased animal parts and plant matter via our facial orifices, who do not worship any the Great Ones! Who we have never heard of!
I mean, Marvel could literally end their comics with that squirrels in the Iron Man suit scene. I really don't think anything can or will ever surpass that moment.
"You think you can just *decide* not to hate someone?" "I think -- I think you can try. I think that's the most revolutionary thing you can do, actually."
