This was the point where I notice that this book had no direction anymore.

And besides Aaron didn't know what he wanted to do with his HellFire Jr Club.

I really liked this book and Bradshaw's work.

Really glad to here you say that. I felt the same but at the time I thought the problem was I had just grown to jaded and cynical to enjoy some zaniness.

This was one of my least favorite arcs in an otherwise entertaining series. I just feel like the "X-Men hypnotized to be circus acts" was already played out by this point.

Also, there're a lot of Frankenstein's Monsters running around the Marvel Universe.

Is it really played out? I only recall this happening in Claremont's run. It's not like they're playing baseball or anything.

My favorite Marvel Frankenstein is the one that's an alien robot.

True. But they have been brainwashed so many times in the past that doing it again leaves a sour taste in every fanboy's mouth.

And the original circus was actually quite good, done by Mesmero and SPOILERS Magneto.

These guys are the Murder Circus. Similar, but different goals and more magic. And Frankenstein.

Though this one doesn't seem to be "The" Frankenstein's monster. Like the one that hangs out with the Legion of Monsters.
