The "Arseface origin special" showed that Sheriff Root hated his son for one specific reason: everyone he knew could brag about their children and he couldn't. There were probably other reasons, Also, the Root Boy's classmates hated him because they hated Sheriff Root and they couldn't beat up Sheriff Root.
Arseface was translated in Brazil as Cara-de-cu. Same meaning, but cu is a swearword of the taboo-est possible category; even in an adult comic and among other swearwords, back then it felt funny to even see it in print like that. It was of course the right choice, and I commend whoever it was who probably had to to argue a lot to get it published.

And has Arseface appeared on the show yet? I'm just curious how it translates to real-life. Everyone in the story basically throws up at the sight of him, but he doesn't seem THAT bad to me.... but then, it is a comic, so maybe it's grosser in real life?
