Sega just wrapped up a live stream showing off the new Sakura Wars game, and it's really put me at ease that the franchise is in good hands. So... more manga!

At this point there is a loud explosion that shocks Oogami but just signals to Iris that Kouran has arrived. See anything Kouran makes is liable to comically explode. And Kouran came in on her steam powered bike.

Yep, she's now the theatre manager. 10 years prior to the events of the game the previous Kagekidan was "lost", though I doubt they're actually dead. Since Sumire retired from the Kagekidan before that, she's still around.
