Feel like they could have done more with this one. It's mostly just an adventure and doesn't really explore the "sidekicks find out their mentors are evil" hook.
Pfft, getting superpowers from a magic tiara. That's ridiculous. Mephisto must'a been feeling lazy when he was coming up with that one. (as opposed to getting superpowers from a semi-magic peanut-butter death cloud. Way more sensible.)
It's odd seeing this Miles be utterly determined to be Nighthawk's sidekick when it was a big point of original Miles's origin that he didn't want to be a superhero until Peter bought it. Alternate realities are a trip.
And in this alternate reality, Sam is actually competent, rather than a bungling screw-up. Freaky.
When will the politicians of the Marvel universe finally respond to my petition demanding that the existence and building of bridges be banned as a way to prevent Goblin related murders
