"If you can't be killed by diseases, does that also mean you'll never be cured from them?" is definitely something you should think about before gaining immortality.
When you come down to it, medical conditions and illnesses in a superhero universe must be interesting to consider. Here we have the view on a character, reliant on a potion to extend his life, but clearly time and biology are catching up with him. Not to mention the whole what do superheroes do for medical care.
Like, in DC, does Wayne Medical have a special program for providing confidential care for injured superheroes at special clinics? Sure, there are some medical doctors who are superheroes, but you can't ask everyone to go to them.
Seriously? He's hundreds of years old...maybe thousands...and NOW he gets dementia? I mean, I guess it had to set in eventually. His body withers, his brain must be doing so as well.

I feel bad for Immortus here
My grandpa had alzheimers. It was a horrible way for anyone to spend the last years of their lives. Being trapped like that forever is horrifying :(
