When you come down to it, medical conditions and illnesses in a superhero universe must be interesting to consider. Here we have the view on a character, reliant on a potion to extend his life, but clearly time and biology are catching up with him. Not to mention the whole what do superheroes do for medical care.

Like, in DC, does Wayne Medical have a special program for providing confidential care for injured superheroes at special clinics? Sure, there are some medical doctors who are superheroes, but you can't ask everyone to go to them.

52 (uh, the 'old' 52?) introduced the Saint Camillus Hospital, specialising in metahuman medical care. Dr Mid-Nite worked there.

Of course, whether that's around still post Flashpoint/Rebirth/DC cosmic reboot #782 is another matter. Still, developing how real world issues might be addressed on a comic book world is interesting to think about.

Given how well Heroes on Crisis went, I'm not sure I'd trust DC with the concept.

Still, a series centred around superhero medical care would be pretty cool to see.

Though Farr and Parr are close as well...

Possibly, given that she was a Famous Movie Star before getting elasticated, her real name is more familiar?

Also, the timeline here is a bit fuzzy anyway, so she may well be calling herself Elasti-Woman at this point.

My grandpa had alzheimers. It was a horrible way for anyone to spend the last years of their lives. Being trapped like that forever is horrifying :(
