Giganta is a Big Help

After those last couple of Giganta posts, our heroine finally meets up with her supposed arch-nemesis, Wonder Woman. Here then, the conclusion to the story begun in Issue 66, which I posted three and a half years ago!

As always, a long rivalry is hinted at, despite this being the first post-Flashpoint dialogue the two have shared, and that even after a Rebirth and Rucka-scrub that cleaned Diana of the Azzarello years. WHo knows what actually happened in that time?

Anywho, once again Giganta is a bona fide HERO in the following scans. Also, the artists chose to make her appear a lot younger/cuter than usual, so does this count as yet another visual alteration?

From issues 67 and 68 of the 2012 volume of 'Wonder Woman', written by G Willow Wilson, colours by Romulo Forjardo Jr., letters by Pat Brosseau, art by Cary Nord & Mick Gray save for the final three scans where the art is by Ronan Cliquet.

GIGANTA: Oh, don't worry. I've already taken exactly what I need.

DIANA: What do you mean?

GIGANTA: I'm sure you'll figure out eventually. And if you don't, it'll be that much more fun for me.

...did Giganta take spank bank material?

I've always found the interactions between WW and Giganta to be far better and more interesting than the WW and Cheetah encounters. Perhaps it has to do with Doris being a more rounded character and being more "human" than cheetah and the other characters in Diana's usual rouge gallery.

Looking up at Giganta.

Joel: I'm HUUUGE!

20 brownie points for those who get that one, SPECIFICALLY!
